RESPONSE (Christian O.)
Being alone but not lonely, solitude can be feared and ignored with the need to feel accepted in a society. What's wrong with knowing yourself, understanding your thoughts, questioning thoughts. I don't think it is intentionally ignored, just feared, or seems lonely.

-Albert Einstein

-Thomas Wolfe
Nowhere can man find a quieter or more untroubled retreat than in his own soul.
-Marcus Aurelius
Without great solitude no serious work is possible.
-Pablo Picasso
