This abstract sculpture made from balsa wood shows repetition in line and shape. Symmetry is found throughout the structure while an organic base holds the piece together. Sparking the unity between symmetry and repetition with asymmetry and abstract.

Flowing Chasm

Dimensions: 17" x 4.4"

Materials: Balsa wood, wood glue

Smooth sanded edges placed similarly to topographical map of a river. Some symbolism in shape with the connection to the female. A flowing shape that shows rhythm and texture through lines and movement as well as depth.
